Riku Klén is an associate professor at Turku PET Centre and leader of the IntoImaging research group, with a background in mathematics and medical image analysis since 2003. He earned his PhD in 2009 and focuses on PET imaging instrumentation, quantitative modelling, and advanced image processing methods.
Alongside his academic work, Riku has advised the Finnish Ministry of Education on matriculation examinations since 2011 and serves as co‑founder and CSO of the health technology startup Ai2Ai. This combination of scientific depth, national‑level educational insight, and startup experience helps Futuuri align its imaging AI with rigorous methodology, real‑world clinical needs, and responsible innovation.
